In diets of agricultural animals and poultry it is
impossible to provide a high level of energy only due to grain forages.
In this connection in diets enter vegetable and animal fats, and
also fish oil.
- Poultry adult (hens,
turkeys, ducks, geese), broilers - up to 1 % in forage.
- To Pigs of all periods
of fattening no more than 0,3-0,5 ? on 1 kg of alive weight.
- To Fur animals - 2-3
% from weight of a diet.
It is necessary to bear in mind, that all fodder
additives render on an organism of an animal various influence,
depending not only on its physiological condition and conditions
of maintenance, but also on a doze of the additive. Overdosing of
these substances can result in undesirable consequences and even
poisonings, though the term toxicity is not absolutely correct to
use in connection with consideration of forages and fodder additives.
Thus, application of forages and fodder additives
should be based on a profound knowledge of the data on pharmacology
and toxicology, physiology and biochemistry, to feeding and technology
of preparation of forages to feed.
